Spot welding heads are generally used in point resistance welding equipment, which are in direct contact with the welded object and provide current and pressure directly to the welded object.
The main difference between spot welding head and soldering iron head,Spot welding is actually a type of electric welding that relies on the instantaneous high temperature of the current to dissolve the welded object onto another object in contact, and then weld it together. Electric soldering iron is a manual soldering tool that heats the soldering iron head to over 300 ℃ for good soldering.
When selecting spot welding heads, you can also choose from these aspects:
1. The selection of spot welding head data and type of spot welding head is mainly based on the melting point of welding line data and pad data.
2. According to the requirements of the solder joint, select the contact area between the discharge part of the solder joint and the weldment. Large welding wires require a large contact area.
3. Select the shape of the discharge section based on the welding wire information and welding data.
4. According to the principle of optimal discharge, set the shape of the welding head's collecting part.
However, it should be noted that empty welding, that is, discharge operation without contact with any metal, is not allowed. The spot welding head will experience a high temperature of thousands of degrees during discharge. If there is no contact with any metal body, the spot welding head will stay at high temperature for a long time because it is easy to form oxidation when in contact with air, resulting in a black oxide layer. Then, the service life of the welding head will be reduced and the welding effect will be reduced. The discharge part of the spot welding head prevents conductive foreign objects from sticking to the cavity. Assuming conductive foreign objects are adhered, the welding effect will decrease.
Through years of independent research and development, our company specializes in producing various rare metal products such as precision hot pressing spot welding heads, pulse hot pressing spot welding heads, tungsten boats, molybdenum boats, and tungsten molybdenum titanium alloys. The product is now widely used in non-standard equipment such as Japanese specialty welding machines, sensitive spot welding machines, and hot press machines. The spot welding heads produced by the company have advantages such as stable quality, fast thermal reaction time, uniform welding, non tin coating, beautiful welding surface, and long service life; Our products are all imported materials, independently produced and customized to meet various customer needs.
