Molybdenum material processing methods and performance, how molybdenum boat manufacturers process it, molybdenum is silver gray in color, and its chemical properties are similar to tungsten. Molybdenum itself has low hardness (HB35-125), but molybdenum materials have high hardness and high brittleness at room temperature. When the temperature reaches 350 ℃~450 ℃, plasticity significantly increases and hardness decreases. Molybdenum has a high yield to strength ratio and a severe tendency towards cutting hardening. Molybdenum has a very high elastic modulus (343 350 MPa), consumes a lot of work during cutting deformation, and has a high cutting force.

Molybdenum has strong adhesion to cutting tool materials, and cutting tools are prone to adhesive wear. When cutting molybdenum and its alloys, cutting tool materials with good strength, resistance to adhesion, and wear resistance should be selected, such as YW1, YW2, etc. When cutting molybdenum ingots and sintered rods, trademarks such as YG6, YG8, YS2 (YGl0H) with higher strength can be selected.

When cutting molybdenum and its alloys, it is required to make the cutting edge as sharp as possible while ensuring the strength of the cutting head. When selecting the geometric parameters of the tool, larger rake angle, smaller main deviation angle, and negative blade inclination angle can be selected. Generally acceptable: γO=15 º to 20 º αO=10 º to 12 º Κr=45 º Κr=15 º λs=-5 º γO1=-2 º to -5 º, bγ= 0.1-0.3mm. The radius of the chip rolling groove Rn=6-8mm, and the surface roughness of the front and rear surfaces Ra ≤ 0.4 μ M.

To prevent excessive cutting temperature and maintain a certain tool durability, lower cutting speeds, larger cutting depths, and feed rates should be selected when cutting molybdenum and its alloys. The reference cutting amount is: during rough turning: ν C=35-75m/min, ap=4-7mm, f=0.2-0.5mm/r; During semi precision turning ν C=50-120m/min, ap=0.2-0.4mm, f=0.15-0.4mm/r.

When cutting molybdenum and its alloys, attention should be paid to sufficient cooling and smoothness. A mixture of CC14 and No. 20 engine oil or MoS2 can be used as a smoothing oil (grease). However, CC14 has toxic and corrosive effects, and protective measures should be chosen when using it.

Molybdenum boat processing methods and performance Molybdenum is a necessary trace element for the human body, animals and plants. It is a silver white metal, hard and tough. Various tissues in the human body contain molybdenum, with a total amount of 9mg in adults. It is found in the liver and kidneys.

Molybdenum is a metallic element commonly used as an additive in alloys and stainless steel. It can enhance the strength, hardness, weldability, and resistance of alloys, as well as enhance their high-temperature strength and corrosion resistance.

Although molybdenum is mainly used in the steel industry, its application in other alloy and chemical industries is constantly expanding due to its various characteristics.
