Many customers intuitively believe that the design and production of spot welding heads must be very simple. In fact, this is misleading. When using a improperly processed or untuned spot welding head, it will bring valuable losses to your production - it can damage the welding effect, and even more seriously, directly lead to damage to the transducer or generator.

Therefore, the design of spot welding heads is never as simple as its appearance. On the contrary, it requires a lot of professional knowledge and technology - how to ensure that the spot welding head can effectively transmit the mechanical oscillation converted by the transducer to the workpiece, forming a continuous and stable welding effect - at Shouchuang Hardware Company, we still firmly believe that only through strict testing and quality control can better spot welding heads be produced. After using ultrasonic mold analysis software, By imitating the actual working conditions of spot welding heads, our engineers perfectly combine the acoustic and mechanical characteristics of spot welding heads to design products that meet customer needs.

Ultrasonic spot welding heads are divided into three types based on mold material:
1. Aluminum magnesium alloy mold is used for the production of oscillation systems (variable amplitude sensors) and spot welding heads. This material has extremely high mechanical yield strength, high hardness, and strong thermal conductivity, making it an ideal material for ultrasonic mold production; But aluminum is not wear-resistant and suitable for general welding requirements.
2. Titanium alloy mold: A model used for continuous vibration generation, with high toughness, good heat conduction, high hardness, and higher cost compared to magnesium aluminum alloy. However, it is more durable and wear-resistant than magnesium aluminum alloy molds.
3. Imported hard alloy steel mold: Imported alloy material with extremely high hardness, used for continuous welding or welding that requires ultra-high wear resistance. It has low heat conduction and high loss of ultrasonic waves. Due to wear resistance, the use cost is low, but the manufacturing process is relatively complex.

Ultrasonic spot welding head is a general term for all ultrasonic emission ends and is an indispensable part of ultrasonic welding equipment. Its function is to couple the ultrasonic waves generated by the transducer into the processed object. As it needs to transmit ultrasonic waves, the spot welding head must work in a resonant state, that is, its natural resonant frequency must match the transducer. Secondly, the amplitude should be uniform, and the shape of the spot welding head end face should adapt to the shape of the welded workpiece. The material of ultrasonic spot welding head is basically made of titanium alloy, magnesium aluminum alloy, or powder metallurgy steel, etc.
