Notes On Making An Evaporation Boat

1. The two rows of fixtures should be aligned and the surface should be smooth.
2. Graphite paper should be used on the end face or side to ensure good electrical touch and thermal conductivity.
3. After about two minutes of closing the power supply, cool the evaporator boat to a dark red color and start turning off the vacuum.
4. The touch point of the aluminum wire should be located at one-third to two-fifths of the length of the boat.
5. The initial heating of the new boat should not be too fast to avoid affecting the deflation.
6. When using the new boat for the first time, the aluminum feeding speed should start at around 75% of the normal rate and gradually increase, and the power should be gradually reduced to achieve a larger liquid aluminum spreading area.
7. It is recommended to heat the new boat for the first time for 15 minutes, and use the above method to start steaming and plating with aluminum.
8. After each roll of evaporation plating is completed, stop feeding aluminum first, and then turn off the power after 30-60 seconds.
