Characteristics of split spot welding heads

1. The tip of the spot welding head is separated, also called ordinary spot welding head, and the tip has an elastic contact surface to form ohmic contact;

2. The middle gap is between 0.05mm and 0.10mm;

3. It is easy to oxidize and has a lower high-temperature hardness than tungsten. It is suitable for ordinary spot welding heads such as flat and round shapes. It is easy to deform when making special-shaped spot welding heads;

4. The life is shorter than that of tungsten and the internal resistance is large;

5. The temperature during spot welding is between 900℃ and 1200℃

6. Because of the large internal resistance, relatively small welding parameters are required for spot welding, and the middle gap It can be made very small, between 0.05mm and 0.10mm;

7. Since the temperature during spot welding is also relatively high, it is not suitable to inlay diamonds on the heating part of the tip of the spot welding head. If diamonds are inlaid, the temperature during spot welding is too high and the diamonds will explode immediately;

8. The tip of the spot welding head needs to be cleaned for every 5,000 or so spot welding points. The frequency of cleaning the spot welding head is high;

9. Material: molybdenum alloy, high-temperature molybdenum alloy (molybdenum-lanthanum alloy), which has super toughness and is suitable for making ordinary spot welding heads, namely split spot welding heads. The tip of the split spot welding head is ohmic contact, that is, elastic contact.
